Satyam Posts $1.3 Billion Revenue

Satyam Posts $1.3 Billion Revenue Satyam Computer, which is making recovery from an accounting scam by its founder B Ramalinga Raju, is said to have recorded revenues of $1-1.3 billion during the past one year.

Almost a year back, Tech Mahindra adopted the once-fourth-biggest IT company following the administration’s intervention to defend the interests of the stockholders as well as staff of the company.

Though there is no official word as yet from the company, it is anticipated that the post-takeover financial situation would be announced some time during the second quarter of the existing fiscal.

A source tracking company’s growths said that the revenue run rate has been consistent at around $100 million per month.

“But the company is most concerned was the employee attrition rather than the customer disengagement,” the source said.

While some clients, who had left the company instantly after the declaration of scam, are ready to join the company again, the employee attrition is said to be having a major impact on the implementation of projects.

The company’s total staff was around 53,000 before Raju opened the fudged accounts story in front of the world.

At present, the company has 25,000 employees. (With Inputs from Agencies)
