Satyam Computer Services Limited, the country’s fourth-largest computer services group, has signed an agreement with US-based Infospectrum to provide enhanced service to operators, third-party maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and component repair providers in the global aviation industry.

According to market experts, Satyam will add value to the alliance through its global implementation and support capabilities, as well as its skills in system configuration and installation, functional and technical training, integration, and remote hosting in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.

However no financial details were provided by both companies.

Satyam Computer Services posted a net profit of Rs 547.70 crore in the first quarter of 2008-09, a rise of 44.8 per cent against Rs 368.28 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
