Sania Mirza clinches ITF Lexington Challenger title

Sania crashes out of Wimbledon Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza has won the title of ITF Lexington Challenger with prize money of $50, 000 after outclassing the top-seeded Frenchwoman Julie Coin by 7-5 6
-4 in the final match in Lexington on Sunday.

The first set of the match was a close one as the second seeded Mirza took 2-0 lead after breaking Julie Coin in the very first game of the match but Coin back strongly to break serve of Mirza to level the set wit 2 games each.

Coin broke Mirza once again in the 8th game to take lead in the first set by 5-3 but Mirza won four successive points to clinch the first set in the tie-beaker by 7-5.

The second set came out with another interesting encounter as Coin took lead of 2-1 but Mirza made another come back with breaking serve of Coin to take lead by 5-3.

Mirza broke Coin once gain in the tenth game to clinch the second set and Mirza will now head over to Stanford for the Bank of the West Classic as she made into qualifying round after reaching into the final of the Lexington challenger.
