Samsung launches new ‘Giorgio Armani’ smartphone
Samsung Mobile India has launched its new cell phone Giorgio Armani in the Indian Market. Giorgio Armani is a Windows based touch screen mobile and is mainly aimed at the business class.
The handset is the third that Samsung has launched in collaboration with Armani. The other phones were Giorgio Armani Samsung mobile launched in 2007 and Emporio Armani Samsung Night Effect launched in 2008.
The phone was launched by Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan, former Miss India, and Ranjeet Yadav, director, IT and telecom, Samsung Electronics in a Mumbai event.
The phone is believed to be the most luxurious business mobile in the Indian market. It is designed by Giorgio Armani and has a stylish and elegant look.
The phone has a Windows 6.5 Operating System. Its screen is AMOLED measuring 3.5". It features 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 5.76Mbps HSUPA and a 5-megapixel camera.
The phone comes with internal memory of 8 Gigabytes and an extendable microSD slot up to 32GB. For connectivity the phone has WiFi and also GPS navigation. The models keypad is full touch and QWERTY.
It has other latest multi-media features such as a music player and a video player supporting various types of multimedia formats.

The features like Synchronization and an automatic backup makes information protected and easily retrievable even if the files are lost. The My Phone service offered for free on the phone enables users to access, manage, and easily run backups of the personal information contained in the device using a password-protected Web-based service.
