Sachin unveils portrait of DungarpurThe cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has unveiled portrait of former BCCI president Raj Singh Dungarpur, popularly known as Rajbhai, at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) clubhouse in Mumbai on Wednesday.

On this occasion, Sachin said that he is very pleased to unveil portrait of Rajbhai as he was associated with him from a long time since 1989 when he drafted him in the Indian squad for the Pakistan tour.

Sachin further said that Rajbhai had supported him from the school days and he played a major role in sending him to an oversea tour of England in 1986.

Dungarpur, who passed away last year, had a great influence on Sachin’s career and he had helped him to shape up his career, according to Sachin. Sachin revealed that Rajbhai’s dream of organizing test matches at this ground was fulfilled last year but he was not there to see it.
