Ribery agent denies AC Milan transfer bid
Rome/Paris - The agent of French midfielder Frank Ribery has denied reports AC Milan had made an offer to Bayern Munich for the player, the Italian website calciomercato. it reported on Monday.
"I know the management of Milan very well, but nobody called me about Ribery," the football agent Alain Migliaccio was quoted as saying. "It's just allegations and suppositions by newspapers."
French daily Le Parisien had reported that Milan were ready to pay the German club 35 million euros (46.5 million dollars) for the 25-year-old international, plus full ownership of defender Massimo Oddo, a 32-year-old currently on loan at Munich from Milan.
According to the report, Ribery had already met with Milan officials and agreed a four-year contract that would pay him 6.5 million euros per season.
The newspaper cited no sources for its story.
Ribery's contract with Bayern ends in 2011, and until then Ribery is "untransferable," according to Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
"I can assure our supporters: there is no sum of money, really none, that could make us consider, even for one second, (his) leaving." (dpa)
