Ace film producer Ram Gopal Verma has finally announced May 4 as the date to launch the promotions of its much-awaited movie ‘Sarkar Raj.’

Previously, the promotional work was planned to start on May 11.

With the failing of Tashan, and its complete blackout from India's multiplex companies, Z Picture Company, who possesses the marketing and distribution rights of Sarkar Raj are promoting it with the intention to fill up the yawning gap.

RGV said that ‘Sarkar Raj’ is a bigger film than its prequel because it doesn’t carry-over the previous story, but look into a different episode in the Nagare family’s life.

Junior Bachchan, who is in Miami now-a-days for the shooting of ‘Dostana,’ will be returning on 23rd May for the film’s promotional activities.

The premiere of the film will take place during the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) to be held in Bangkok.

RGV unveiled the first look of Sarkar Raj on 20th April which was the first wedding anniversary of the lead pair, Abhishek and Aishwarya.

The film is set to hit the big screens on 6th June.

As for the expectation from the film, there are 3 main points for the viewers to know:

Firstly, viewers should not expect Abhi and Aish as a couple. For the majority of the film, the couple plays antagonists and challengers in business and ethics rather than partners.

Secondly, Big B’s role looms like a shadow as Abhishek takes on the empire.

And finally, Ram Gopal Varma insists, people should stop draw real-life parallels from the movie.
