The former national champion Renu Gora has denied the reports that said that she was serving tea to the visitors in the National Institute of Sports in Patiala and she was even made to wash the dirty dishes there on Saturday.

This response of Renu has came after yesterday a photograph was published in the national daily Hindustan Times in which she was supposedly serving tea at the sports institute.

The paper claimed that Renu, who won bronze-medal at the World Boxing Championship in 2006, has said that she was following the order of the seniors and she would have to obey them even if they ask her to serve tea.

In an interview to CNN-IBN Renu said that she had not served tea to anyone and she had not complained about any policy of the training institute.

Renu was promised a job in Railways but as per latest reports, she has been doing one-year coaching course at the Patiala institute where she was found to work as a waitress and cleaning lady.
