London, Dec.24: Manchester detectives have named the Muslim man who was killed in a racist attack last Friday.

The man was identified as 28-year-old Asaf Mahmood Ahmed.

London, Dec.24: About 500 asylum seekers, a majority of them Muslim, were treated to a free Christmas party in Calais on Sunday.

According to The Sun, they were given food, drink, gifts and party bags. However, there were no carols in case they were offended.

The party was held at the Minck Civic Hall and was organised by local charities C’SUR and Belle Etoile. Entertainers included a clown dressed as Santa and local children singing Ethiopia’s national anthem. Pasta, chicken and cake were served instead of traditional turkey dinners.
