Mum claims to have photo to prove angel saved severely ill daughter’s life!

Melbourne, December 27: An American woman claims that she has a photograph to prove that an angel has save the life of her severely ill teenage daughter.

Colleen Banton of Mint Hill, North Carolina, revealed that her daughter Chelsea had been suffering from an advanced case of pneumonia.

She revealed that the pneumonia had spread from the girl's left lung to her right lung.

She said that her daughter also had sepsis and blood clots, staph infections, E. coli, a collapsed lung and feeding problems.

Colleen recalled that the doctors treating Chelsea were unsure whether the girl could be taken off of the ventilator.

Melbourne, Dec 27: The Australian Government has left open the possibility of taking former inmates from the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd warned that any US request for an inmate to come would be subject to legal criteria and assessed on a case-by-case basis, The Australian reported.

Meanwhile, the Greens warned Rudd that he faced a political backlash if he accepted detainees held in the US military jail at Guantanamo Bay, but a spokesman for the Prime Minister confirmed that American authorities had approached Australia and other countries about resettling the detainees.

Cat reunites with family after two weeks in truck without food and water!

Melbourne, Dec 25 : A cat miraculously survived two weeks in a removal truck to be reunited with its family.

According to the Northern Territory News, Snowball had no food or water in the back of the truck as it travelled with his owner''s furniture for more than 3000km from Minden in Queensland to Katherine in the Northern Territory.

The family was completely devastated when they lost the white Siamese-cross tom cat on the day the removalist packed everything from their Queensland home into the truck on December 9.

However, when the removal van arrived at their new home in Katherine - two weeks to the day after it was packed - and Snowball was found meowing while trapped inside a recliner, the family's devastation turned to sheer joy.
