Dino fossil proves humans lived alongside dinosaurs

Dino-fossil-Ebenezer.Melbourne, May 24 : The Australian man, who is building a Noah's ark in America, is set to unveil a dinosaur fossil named " Ebenezer", which he says proves that humans lived alongside dinosaurs.

Ken Ham, the founder of the Creation Museum in Kentucky, will be unveiling a new exhibit of a 30-foot-long skeleton of an Allosaurus, News. com. au reported.

The fossil resembles a Tyrannosaurus rex and is the centrepiece of a new exhibit called "Facing the Allosaurus".

Nicole Kidman's 'Grace of Monaco' gets poor reviews at Cannes

Peter Bradshaw of the Guardian said that the "film is so awe-inspiringly wooden that it is basically a fire-risk".

Of Kidman's performance as the former Grace Kelly -turned-Princess, Bradshaw writes that the Aussie spends her time "wafting around the Palace with dewy-eyed features and slightly parted lips which make her look like a grown-up Bambi after a couple of cocktails, suddenly remembering his mother's violent death in the forest".

Distant tiny spinning star discovered

spinning-starMelbourne, May 7 : Using the ‘empty’ space between stars and galaxies that is made up of sparsely spread charged particles as a giant lens, researchers have made a measurement of a distant rotating neutron star that is believed to be the most precise till now.

The new measurement is one million times more precise than the previous world’s best.

Neutron stars were particularly interesting objects to study, as some of them - called pulsars - gave off pulsed radio waves whose beams swept across telescopes at regular intervals.

How Australian camels turned into 'humped pests'

"The study revealed the risk of pancreatic cancer was greatest after the diagnosis of diabetes but remained elevated long after the diagnosis,” said Mehrdad Nikfarjam, liver, pancreas and biliary specialist at the University of Melbourne.

“The presence of diabetes remains a modest risk factor for the development of a cancer later in life," he said.
