Johnson to miss T20s against South Africa

Mitchell-JohnsonMelbourne, March 6 : Cricket Australia's national selection panel Thursday said Mitchell Johnson will return home to rest ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh and will not take part in the Twenty20 Series against South Africa beginning Sunday.

All-rounder Moises Henriques will stay on in South Africa as a replacement for Johnson, CA said in a release.

The ICC charged Warner under its code of conduct with 'public criticism of, or inappropriate comment in relation to an incident occurring in an international match or any player, player support personnel, match official or team participating in any international match'.


Australia name Sultan Azlan Shah Cup squad

Hockey-AustraliaMelbourne, Feb 27 : Hockey Australia (HA) Thursday announced an 18-man squad for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup to be held in Ipoh, Malaysia, from March 13-23.

Three-time Olympian and 2004 Athens Games gold medallist Liam De Young is set to become only the fourth Australian to make 300 appearances for the Kookaburras after being named in the squad. He will join Jay Stacy (321 caps), Brent Livermore (317) and fellow Queenslander Jamie Dwyer (308) as a member of the '300 club'.

Djokovic won the opening set with a solitary break.

From the fourth deuce of the opening game in the second set, Djokovic won 14 of the next 15 points to surge to 4-0 and ended the contest.

Djokovic fired off seven aces and converted six break points in the match.
