Kuala Lumpur, Apr 29 : It was certainly a case of spooky return when a ghostly apparition that scared the wits out of some 50 schoolgirls in Langgar, Malaysia on April 26, made a second appearance in the premises yesterday.
Another girls from Forms One to Four of SMK Langgar became frantic after they claimed they saw the apparition in the school canteen at 9.30am.
In an immediate reaction, State Education director Shahidan Abdul Rahman advised those affected by the incidents to stay home.
"We are still investigating the matter and I advise those still disturbed by the incidents to stay home," The New Strait Times Online quoted him as saying.
Kuala Lumpur, Apr 29 : The sole orphanage for Malay Sikh kids has received a donation of RM 40,000 from The Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers, which is also known as Bakti, and from Malaysian Punjabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Senator Daljit Singh.
Gurupuri currently depends on donations from well-wishers.
Bakti president Rosmah Mansor said the association would also help to provide meal allowances for children from the Social Welfare Department.
The Star online quoted Rosmah, the wife of Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, as saying: "If there are other requests, we will definitely consider helping out as well."
Klang, Apr 27: Hindu Right Action Force leader P. Waythamoorthy wants to have a dialogue over the condition of Indians living in Malaysia with Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.
Waythamoorthy, who is in self-exile in London, said he is prepared to meet Najib to outline the grouses that had pushed Hindraf to mobilise members of the Indian community to a protest rally on November 25, 2007.
Kuala Lumpur, Apr 27: A 15-year-old Malay girl, who is seven months’ pregnant, has claimed that her father and his friend have raped her for three years.
The secondary school student, who lives with her parents, confessed to her aunt about it and she in turn took the young girl to the Skudai police station to lodge a report.
