Pakistan aim to trap Aussies in spin web during UAE seriesLahore, Apr. 11: Pakistan is banking upon its spinners to tackle the new but exceptionally talented Australian batting line-up in the forthcoming UAE one day international series.

Coach Intikhab Alam said he would be relying more on spinners in the series as the Kangaroos are not great players of spin bowling.

"I noticed them going down to spin against South Africa and luckily we have three quality spinners, which we could use against them," The Nation quoted Alam, as saying.

The board, which is facing a grim financial situation due to a series of tour cancellations, is expecting the forthcoming series to improve its bank account figures, as it has sold the title sponsorship rights to a Dubai builder for 440,000 dollars while co-sponsorship rights have been sold 225,000 dollars to a bank and 160,000 dollars to a cellular company.

The Daily Times quoted Malakand Commissioner Syed Muhammad Javed as saying that the Taliban had agreed to leave Buner and would completely vacate the area by Friday.

The Taliban had made no demands for vacating the area, he added.

Earlier, the local jirga held talks with the Taliban under the supervision of the commissioner Javed.
