Dharamsala, Mar 21 : Tibetans living in exile here released a new video giving graphic details of Chinese atrocities committed in Tibet last year.

''China''s brutality in Tibet exposed'' was released by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) here on Friday.

The video, running into eight-minutes, shows grim footage of protestors being brutally beaten by police, the sufferings and death of captives and doctors treating seriously injured monks during protests that erupted throughout Tibet since March 10, 2008.

Dharamsala, Mar 11 : Hundreds of Tibetans, including monks, nuns and officials of the Tibetan Government-in-exile, on Wednesday attended an annual special prayer ceremony that marked the 16th day of the first month of the Tibetan calendar year here.

On the occasion, the Dalai Lama gave his annual spring speech at the main temple here.

"This is one of the most important prayer ceremonies in our traditions. On this day, we remember Buddha's teachings, legacies and stuff," said Thubten Thalgey, a Tibetan lawmaker.

The nineteen-year-old Aman Kachroo, a former Delhi Public School student, died on Sunday night after being allegedly ragged and beaten by his seniors.

Dharamshala, Mar. 10 : Hundreds of Tibetans, including monks, nuns and officials of the Tibetan Government-in-exile, gathered at the main Tsuglagkhang Buddhist temple in Dharamshala to offer prayers for the long life of their spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Monday.

This congregation of Tibetans assembled just a day prior to the 50th anniversary of Chinese occupation of their homeland.

Dharamsala, Mar 7 : Tibetan exiles on Saturday began a five-day long prayer session to pray for the long life of their spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.

A religious association organised prayer session at Chamunda Temple with Hindu customs and rituals.

Several Buddhist monks and Tibetan exiles attended the praying session.

On the second day of the Tibetan New Year, hundreds of Tibetans living in exile staged a rally here today as a mark of homage to the martyrs of Tibetan freedom struggle.

The protestors covering their foreheads with black bands participated in the protest march, raising anti-Chinese slogans.

The protest also gains significance as the 50th anniversary of the exile of Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, who fled to India after an abortive uprising against Chinese rule in 1959, comes close.
