In a significant move, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) named Ranadeb Bose as the captain of Bengal for the upcoming Moin-ud-Dowla Gold Cup.

The Moin-ud-Dowla Gold Cup will be held at Hyderabad from September 10-22.

Bose, an experiences fast bowler will have a bunch of former ICL players under him. Prominent among them include: Deep Dasgupta, Rohan Gavaskar, Eklakh Ahmed and Abhishek Jhunjhunwala.

Apart from this, the selectors also named all-rounder Laxmi Ratan Shukla as the skipper for the All-India JP Atray Memorial Memorial Invitation Cricket tournament in Chandigarh from September 17-30.
