Qadir alleges PCB didn’t ask him while selecting the team
Former Pakistan chief selector Abdul Qadir said that he was not given importance by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) while national team of Pakistan was selected for the ICC T20 World Cup.
Qadir, who had recently resigned from the post of Pakistan chief selector said that he will not work with PCB again even if he is offered ten million rupees to do so. Qadir resigned as Pakistan chief selector saying that all the powers were given to the captain and the coach for team selection and he was completely ignored in this procedure.
Qadir also blamed PCB Governing Board member Shakeel Sheikh saying that Sheikh is just like cancer to the Pakistan cricket and he should be kept away from the cricket for its welfare.
Qadir also said that he was not able to implement his plan for improvement of cricket in Pakistan as PCB did not allow him to work with his plans freely.
He further added that he would have fired Shoaib Malik and captain Younis Khan from the Pakistan team as they were caught fighting during the Dubai series.
