Reports say that Qatar, world''s largest exporter of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), is hopeful that energy projects would not be delayed despite global economic uncertainty.
According to media reports, RasGas 2, Qatar''s largest LNG project, would start operations from one of its units in a few weeks and would produce 7.8 million tons a year.
LNG production in Qatar, which has the world''s third-largest gas reserves, is split between two companies, RasGas and Qatargas, both majorities owned by state oil firm Qatar Petroleum. (ANI)
