Prachanda to visit China today
Kathmandu, Aug 23: Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to leave for Beijing today to attend the Olympics closing ceremony.
During his visit Prachanda'' will meet Chinese President Hu Jintao.
He will also meet Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. He will attend a luncheon hosted by Jiabao in honor of visiting heads of State and Government.
The first meeting of the newly formed cabinet held on Friday night approved the decision to send an eleven-member delegation that includes his wife Sita Dahal, Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara and government officials.
Nepal could not send its top state representative to Olympic opening ceremony due to political stalemate, Nepalnews reported. (ANI)
