Pollard, Warner make into All-Star XI
Trinidad and Tobago's big hitting batsman Kieron Pollard and New South Wales' David Warner have been included in the list of US $6 million Champions League Twenty20 All-Star XI updated on Monday.
The second edition of All-Star XI was updated after the end of Super Eight round on Monday and Pollard, Warner, Delhi's Dirk Nannes and Victoria's Andrew McDonald made into the star studded team.
Pollard had smashed 54 from 18 balls against New South Wales to lead Trinidad and Tobago to an exciting win and this is considered as the best individual performance in the tournament so far.
Pollard also shares the record of highest strike rate of 203.39 with Royal Challengers Bangalore's Ross Taylor. Pollard has scored 120 runs in 4 matches including 11 towering sixes.
NSW Blues opener Warner had scored 63 runs in 41 balls against Trinidad & Tobago apart from a blistering inning of 40 runs in just 16 balls against Somerset to led NSW into the semifinals.
The next updated list of the All-Star XI will be released after the end of semifinals and the final list will be announced on October 23 after the conclusion of the grand finale.
