Pneumonia tops in deadly disease list
Hospitalization counts for severe chest illness in Northern Territory aboriginal children are about four times high in Native American baby. Moreover it has been found in about 427 out of 1000 babies annually in the country. As per a recent study pneumonia issues are found at 26.6 per 1000 residents annually. This rate has climbed to 57.5 issues per 1000 in children aged less than a year.
Doctors have said that the results were intolerable in a developed country like Australia and keeping the disease low has become a national priority. But the major fact is the Australian government is not taking this disease seriously.
Another study shows that the aboriginal youngsters are having 11 times high the risk of oral health issues. The occurrence of unprocessed teeth was also 3.1 times more. These are some real problematic issue but still the sales of cigarettes, tobacco and soft drinks are high and fruits and green vegetables are low.
Peter O'Mara, the president of AIDA has stated that the credentials demonstrated the fact that aboriginal communities were the sickest in the country and Australia was is becoming a very careless country to resolve healthcare issues.
