Bollywood hottie Priyanka Chopra has taken a break from her busy schedule to celebrate her 28th birth anniversary in Phuket, Thailand.

Piggy Chops has been busy shooting for her upcoming flicks like "Anjaana Anjaani" and "Saat Khoon Maaf".

A source close to the actress said, "Priyanka has gone to Phuket with six of her friends... all girls! She will celebrate her birthday there... her schedule was planned to make sure she got the time off."

Even though the actress didn't disclose where she is heading for her break, she posted on micro-blogging site Twitter,: "Off for my sinful holiday with my girls! Oh sooooo needed it... See you guys in paradise."

Priyanka, who turns 28 this Sunday, will come back in Mumbai on July 27.

Priyanka, who bagged the Miss World title in the year 2000, entered the Hindi film industry with "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy" in the year 2003, after which she featured in "Andaaz".

In the year 2004, Miss Chopra won critical acclaim for her performance in "Aitraaz" and later did commercial films like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi", "Bluffmaster", "Krrish", "Don - The Chase Begins Again", and "Salaam-E-Ishq".

The actress registered her name among top-rated actress after giving brilliant performance in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion".

She was seen in commercial hits like "Dostana" and "Kaminey" and also featured in films like "What's Your Rashee", and "Pyaar Impossible", which didn't fare too well at the box office. Nevertheless, she has films like "Anjaana Anjaani", Vishal Bharadwaj's "Saat Khoon Maaf" and "Don 2 - The Chase Continues" in her kitty this year. (With Inputs from Agencies)
