Dubai's Pearl Continental Creek Hotel and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have joined hands for offering discounted travels and stay packages in the richest city of the World. PIA hopes rise in number of people using its services for visiting the Gulf region in the largest Dubai Shopping Festival.

A large number of people from across the globe turn up in the mega shopping festivals, started in 1996, for purchasing things at very lucrative prices. Around 3.35 million visitors visited the festival last year spending around Dh9.8 billion.

Pakistan has also been taking part in the festival through its retailers, businessmen, shopper and traders. The recent agreement will give PIA travelers an opportunity to enjoy 32-days long shopping festival using various packages such as Family, Standard and Premier.

PIA Managing Director, Captain Haroon Aijaz said, "PIA is working on many more packages while this was the one is signed today." He said that the recent agreement will also allow the UAE travelers to visit northern parts of Pakistan at discounted price.

Captain Haroon Aijaz added, "The new packages would attract the people of the UAE for a visit to Pakistan which offers lot of sight-seeing valleys and lakes in the North, fascinating mountains with some of the world's highest peaks and many more features."
