Philadelphia Phillies baseball team apologize to a fan and his daughter vomit incident

Philadelphia-PhilliesOfficials have informed that the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team has apologized to a fan and his daughter after another spectator at a game vomited on the young girl.

The Philadelphia Inquirer has reported that Easton, Pa., police Capt. Michael Vangelo and his two daughters were attending the Phillies game Saturday when Mathew Clemmens, 21, allegedly intentionally vomited on one of the girls, age 11.

The newspaper further said that Clemmens was arrested and charged with assault, harassment and related charges.

It was claimed by Vangelo that Clemmens was bothering him and his daughters before intentionally vomiting on one of the girls and then punching him.

The Phillies organization offered an apology and offered to host him and his family at another game, have them watch batting practice from the field and treat them to dinner, he said.

Vangelo further said, "I accepted, and I don't blame the organization for this incident. The blame rests solely with Mr. Clemmens." (With Inputs from Agencies)
