Chicago (US), Apr. 3 : More than 100 art works, some commissioned by the Obama campaign, are being exhibited at the Chicago Tourism Center here with the aim of depicting the outpouring of enthusiasm for America's first Afro-American Head of State before he took office.

Scott Thomas, former design director for the "Obama for America" campaign; Chicago artist Ray Noland, and Nathan Mason, curator of special projects for, curate the show, "Officially Unofficial -- Inspired Art for Obama,"

London, Apr 3: US President Barack Obama has revealed that he is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and even told its author J K Rowling about it.

Obama, 47, who was genuinely pleased to meet 43-year-old Rowling, told her at the end of the Downing Street G20 dinner that he had read all her books, and that he also read them to his daughters Sasha and Malia.

But Obama was not the only fan of the author, for Russian President Medvedev and his wife Svetlana also admitted to having read the Harry Potter books.

London, Apr. 3: American and British dailies have described President Barack Obama's first trip abroad as Head of State as a bag of mixed results, but all in all, not bad for a leader travelling abroad as the head of state for the first time.

According to them, Obama presented himself as the leader of an America that can no longer go it alone.

Paris - US President Barack Obama and his French counterpart, Nicolas Sarkozy, were to meet in the French city of Strasbourg on Friday for their first head-to-head meeting since Obama's election to the White House.

The meeting was to take place at lunchtime, ahead of a NATO summit in Strasbourg and in the German cities of Kehl and Baden-Baden.

According to The Telegraph, nearly one in five white evangelical Protestants and 17 per cent of the Republicans who took part in the telephone poll of 1,308 adults, which was conducted by Pew Research from March 9-12, said they thought Obama was Muslim.

Fewer than half in each group - 38 per cent of white evangelicals and 46 percent of Republicans - correctly identified him as Christian.
