New York, February 16 : Alex Rodriguez is hitting the headlines yet again after reportedly getting cosy with a stunning model on Valentine Day.

The baseball''s biggest superstar was said to be dating the beautiful Melissa Britos, despite previous rumours linking the power-hitting player to Madonna, who was reportedly blamed for his broken marriage.

The Yankee slugger was seen fixing his gaze on Britos during a romantic dinner at the Scarpetta restaurant in the Fontainebleau resort in Miami.

New York, Feb 11 : Although Alex Rodriguez had broken ex-wife Cynthia's heart by `dating' Madonna, she was by his side during his emotional interview with ESPN in which he confessed that he used performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

Sitting off-camera, Cynthia watched him, clutching a tissue, with tears in her eyes as the Yankee slugger admitted to using steroids.

"It looked to me as though he had been crying, and it looked to me as if Cynthia had been crying," The New York Daily News quoted Willie Weinbaum, ESPN''s producer, as telling Newsday.

Washington  - Alex Rodriguez, arguably the greatest US baseball player and an icon for the sport, admitted Monday to taking performance-enhancing drugs for three years while playing for the Texas Rangers.

The shocking confession came in an interview with US sports network ESPN. Rodriguez, or A-Rod, said he started using steroids in 2001 after signing a 252-million-dollar contract with Texas, which at the time was the most expensive in baseball history.

"I was stupid for three years. I was very, very stupid," said Rodriguez.
