The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been in confusion over the issue of whether they should attend 2011 WC logo unveiling ceremony or not, as they have still been fighting for their share of matches in the World Cup 2011.

PCB would consult their legal advisors to finalize their stand on the logo unveiling ceremony of the 2011 World Cup and meeting of the Central Organizing Committee (COC), which will be held on 14th July in Mumbai.

A senior PCB official said that as they have appealed against the ICC decision in the court so that they would have to consult their lawyers about participating in the logo unveiling ceremony of World Cup 2011.

He added that PCB chairman Ejaz Butt and Chief Operating Officer Saleem Altaf have been invited for the ceremony and the COC meeting.

It’s worthwhile to mention here that ICC had removed Pakistan as a co-host of the World Cup 2011 due to security concerns and Pakistan has challenged this decision of ICC in the courts.
