Pawan Kalyan To Star In Telugu Remake Of ‘Love Aaj Kal’
Here's good news for Telugu film industry's power star Pawan Kalyan buffs and movie lovers who want to see a variety in movies irrespective of the actor.
After Komaram Puli, Kalyan's next movie will be a remake of hit Hindi film 'Love Aaj Kal'.
Producer turned comedian Ganesh Babu will produce this film, while Tivikram will write the dialogues. The music of the film will be composed by Manisharma.
Jayanth C Paranji, who is good at adapting movies, will be directing the film.
Under the Parameshwara Arts banner, the movie was launched amidst fanfare at a function in Hyderabad.
The producer was looking for a nice script and finally he decided for a remake. Because of to date problems with Bollywood actors, he thought of Samantha and Anushka initially as heroines. Later Anushka was signed for the main lead.
But, the latest news is that Anushka has demanded 1.5 crores for the movie.
The film makers find it too high. She has charged Rs 2 lakhs on a daily basis for her forthcoming movie 'Vedam'. The producers replaced Anushka with Ileana, as she was ready to adjust her dates.
Jayanth is planning to release the movie in January, 2011. A part of the movie will be shot in USA as the original movie was partially shot in and around San Francisco.
Pawan will be seen in a double role in the film. It has been heard that Deepika Padukone has been signed for a small role in the movie too. The shooting of the film will be started from July. (With Inputs from Agencies)
