Pantelic saves Hertha in 2-1 victory over Cologne
Berlin - Marko Pantelic shot Hertha BSC to a place in the Champions-League Friday, spoiling with a 2-1 win Christoph Daum's anniversary celebration as a Bundesliga coach.
The Serbian placed the winning goal in the 86th minute, bringing Hertha its fourth success in the series with 30 points and putting it number 2 in the tables.
Gojko Kacar brought Hertha its first goal in the 24th minute, answered by Cologne's Milivoje Novakovic in the 45th minute.
Daum marked his 400th consecutive Bundesliga game Friday as a coach with the third consecutive defeat. (dpa)
