Pakistan has more stake in Afghan: Says Qureshi
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan is having more stakes in Afghanistan than India. He has said this while he was being interviewed by PBS news Channel.
Qureshi has also said that Pakistan is sharing the boarders with Afghanistan, but India is not sharing the border with them. Hence they are having more stakes in that country.
Moreover India’s interest can not be equal to the interest of Pakistan on the Afghan issue.
Apart from that Pakistan is in direct influence with the events of Afghanistan while India has not been impacted to that extent. He has also revealed that Pakistan has given shelter to three million refugees in its soil. Practically both countries are having almost same economy. Both the countries are having various common issues in terms of cultural, linguistic and ethnical issues.
When he was asked about the relationship between ISI and Taliban he has revealed that ISI is not considering them as its friends. ISI has been the target of Taliban and they have no links.
