Pakistan elects to bat first against Australia
Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has won the toss and elected to bat first in the last one day international match of the five ODI matches series against Australia at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground in Perth on Sunday.
Pakistan skipper Mohammad Yusuf has pulled out from this match due to knee injury and Afridi is leading Pakistan team for the first time in one day internationals. Kamran Akmal and Saeed Ajmal have been dropped from the Pakistan squad.
Young wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik and Khalid Latif have been included in the Pakistan team. Pakistan has already lost the series and they have to win this match for pride of their country.
On the other hand, Australian team will be eyeing to clean sweep Pakistan 5-0 by winning this match. Adam Voges and Mitchell Johnson have replaced injured Michael Clarke and Peter Siddle in the Australian squad.
Pakistan team for this match includes Salman Butt, Khalid Latif, Younis Khan, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Fawad Alam, Shahid Afridi (captain), Naved-ul-Hasan, Iftikhar Anjum, Mohammad Asif and Sarfraz Ahmed.
Australian squad includes SE Marsh, BJ Haddin, RT Ponting (captain), CL White, AC Voges, MEK Hussey, JR Hopes, NM Hauritz, CJ McKay, RJ Harris and MG Johnson.
