Pakistan to contact India ‘officially’ soon over Mumbai probe: QureshiKarachi, Feb. 12: Responding to India's repeated demand of reciprocating directly to it, rather via the media in the Mumbai investigations, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Islamabad would soon contact India officially.

"Pakistan would hold direct talks with India soon on Mumbai incident probe,"The Nation quoted Qureshi, as saying.

Rejecting the news about a case being registered against Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving Mumbai terrorist, Qureshi said Islamabad has decided to register a case against the culprits, and the Indian representative would be informed in this regard.

Pakistan Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior, Rehman Malik also put down reports about a case against Kasab being registered by Pakistani authorities.

Sources in the Federal investigation Agency (FIA), Special Investigation Group (SIG) and police officials have also denied the claims of FIR registration, saying that there wasn't any FIR registered in this regard.

Qureshi reiterated Pakistan's commitment in fighting terrorism saying that it would continue to support the international community in the `war on terror'. (ANI)
