Pakistan Boycotts ICC Meeting For Sealing WC VenuesThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has opted to boycott the meeting of the 2011 World Cup Organizing Committee in which the venues for the matches of the 2011 World Cup has been finalized in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Pakistan was invited in the meeting of the ICC event's Central Organising Committee (COC) as co-host for the World Cup 2011 which will be now hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh jointly.

It’s worthwhile to mention here that Pakistan was removed as a co-host of the World Cup 2011 due to security concerns by the ICC after terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team.

A senior official of the ICC said that the schedule of the matches would be announced in the due course and recommendations for the alternative venues for Pakistan's quota matches have been sent to ICC board.

ICC also confirmed that final match will be hosted by India while semifinals will be organized in India and Sri Lanka and two of the four quarterfinals will be hosted by Bangladesh.
