NSW to clash with Victoria in first semifinal

Simon Katich AustraliaThe Australian domestic teams New South Wales and Victoria Bushrangers will lock horns in the first semi-final of the cash rich and lucrative T20 Champions League in Delhi on Wednesday.

NSW led by Simon Katich have won all matches in the league stage and they have lost just one match in the super eight round against Trinidad & Tobago.

Kieron Pollard of Trinidad and Tobago had smashed 54 runs in 18 balls in that match to lead his team to four wickets win.
NSW opener David Warner and Phillip Hughes have provided good opening stand to their team in last few matches and B Lee has also impressed with his pace and consistency in the bowling.

On the other hand, Victoria led by Cameron White, was upset by Wayamba in the league stage but they won their second match against local favorites Delhi Daredevils at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground, Delhi.

NSW squad for the semifinal includes Simon Katich (c), Aaron Bird, Doug Bollinger, Stuart Clark, Nathan Hauritz, Moises Henriques, Phillip Hughes, Simon Keen, Brett Lee, Steve O'Keefe, Ben Rohrer, Daniel Smith, Steven Smith, Dominic Thornely and David Warner.

Victoria squad includes Cameron White (capt), Aiden Blizzard, Aaron Finch, Shane Harwood, John Hastings, Brad Hodge, Jon Holland, David Hussey , Andrew McDonald, Bryce McGain, Clint McKay, James Pattinson, Rob Quiney, Peter Siddle and Matthew Wade.
