Nokia Unveils 8800 Sapphire Arte Mobile Phone In Indian Market @ Rs 62,829
Nokia has made announcement about the launching of its premium mobile handset ‘8800 Sapphire Arte’ in the Indian market.
Inspired from natural world, the stylishly designed mobile phone features a single Sapphire gem stone as the center-key.
Targeting style conscious youngsters, Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte has brilliant 3G potentialities together with 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera with 8x digital zoom and 1GB integrated memory space.
Devinder Kishore, Director Marketing, Nokia India stated, “As part of its premium range, Nokia brings yet another iconic mobile phone. Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte sets the benchmark for quality and craftsmanship. The high-end materials and seamless surfaces celebrate the art of individuality - inspired by natural light with minimalistic design.”
Marrying style and high-practicality, the new handset is made up of high-end metal and glass. Its smooth slide mechanism consists of high-tech ball bearings and a unique spring mechanism that makes it a joy to handle and behold.
The new mobile phone features a 2.0" QVGA 240x320 pixels OLED display with up to 16 million colors. The ambient light sensor of the phone sets the handset's screen intensity automatically.
The handset also comes with unique tap-for-time and turn-to-mute features, and the living wallpapers move all through the day to provide on-screen decoration. By double-tapping the steel surface below the display, an analogue clock appears that shows time in a classic form, whereas incoming calls can simply be put on silent by turning over the phone, screen-side down.
The company has also formed a premium soundtrack for the new stylish phone composed by master producers Kruder & Dorfmeister with visuals by Fritz Fitzke.
Other key features of the Nokia 8800 mobile phone includes fingerprint coating on metal and glass, all-in-one microUSB connector and many others.
