Lead author Katarzyna Chawarska, associate professor in the Yale Child Study Center and the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, pooled data from eight sites participating in the Autism Speaks Baby Siblings Research Consortium found that about 50 percent of siblings diagnosed at 18 months, developed a combination of poor eye contact and lack of communicative gestures or imaginative play.

Los Angeles - Actor Sean Bean has joined Matt Damon in 'The Martian', the space survival drama Ridley Scott is directing for Twentieth Century Fox.

The story centers on an astronaut (Damon) who is stranded in a Martian colony and struggles to survive, hoping he can last long enough for NASA to organise a rescue mission, according Hollywood Reporter.

London : State Bank of India is determined to carry on retail banking operations in the UK despite a recent crackdown by the Bank of England on the operations of foreign-owned banks in the country.

SBI, which has been operating in the UK for 95 years, said it is prepared to set aside 100 million pounds in ring-fenced capital and restructure its operations if that is necessary to keep operating on the high streets.

New Delhi : Days after approving lower than demanded gas price increase, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said the USD 5.61 per mmBtu rate will ensure explorers make profit but not windfall gain.

The increase in rate, approved the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Saturday, balances interests of oil and gas explorers and consumers, he said here.

"It is a rational decision... Even at this (USD 5.61) price, the explorers are going to make profit. They won't have a windfall profit. At the same time, the burden of consumers will be minimal," he said.
