Courteney Cox wary of talking about ‘Friends’ film in media

Courtney CoxWashington, Dec 12 : Courteney Cox is in no mood to push her ‘Friends’ co-stars to re-unite for a film based on the hit sitcom, as she fears that talking about the project in the media would trigger imaginary feuds among the cast.

Talking on the comedienne Ellen DeGeneres'' daytime talk show on Dec 11, the actress, who played Monica in the show, said she is quite keen on making a film adaptation of the series, which went off the air in 2004.

However, Cox was hesitant to talk freely about the potential project, as she''s not quite sure of what direction it could go in.

"Well, it all took place around an apartment and a coffee shop so I don''t know what would we do? We went to England once, and was that great? I''m not sure,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She added: "The show was great, but I don''t know. I don''t think we''re going to do it. People keep talking about it, I wish we would."

In fact, Courteney even stumbled over her words while talking about the show, saying: "Why do I say the words, ''I wish we would''? Then it''s going to be like, ''Courteney wants to do the thing (movie), but the rest of the cast doesn''t.''" (ANI)
