Pak Taliban step up activities in Upper Orakzai
Hangu (Pakistan), Nov 2 : The Pakistan’s unit of the Taliban, Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) is learnt to have stepped up their activities in the Upper Orakzai Agency, by abducting at least 10 people including government employees on Saturday.
The Taliban stopped a vehicle at Sarkas and abducted two elders of the Shaihkan tribe, Mir Saeed and Malik Nazeer, reported the Daily Times.
In a second incident, a serving subedar Ilyas Khan was abducted along with his two sons and two gunmen from the Mushti area.
Four men of the Ali Khel tribe were also kidnapped.
Earlier, on Friday, the TTP killed three people, including Momin Khan, a tribal elder of the Ali Khel tribe, who had been supporting the government’s anti-Taliban actions. (ANI)
