New York, Sept 25: Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh met Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin in New York today.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ongoing UN General Assembly session in New York.

Palin, who is said to be having less foreign affairs experience as compared to her Democrat rival Joe Biden, is also scheduled to meet other world leaders, including the Presidents of Iraq and Georgia.

On Tuesday, Palin met Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe and discussed with them the ongoing crises in their countries.

She also met former US Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger.

Palin, faces a debate on October 2 in St Louis with Biden, a veteran senator from Delaware, who is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. (ANI)
