Hundreds of African migrants arrive in Yemen
Ahwar, Yemen - Human traffickers brought more than 400 African migrants to the coast of Yemen Tuesday, reports said.
A Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa reporter saw dozens of disorientated migrants on the beach near the town of Ahwar on the Gulf of Aden. They arrived in four boats.
Fishermen said they buried one African woman who died after reaching Yemen's shores. Migrants said another three died during the passage due to the heat.
A spokeswoman for Doctors Without Borders in Ahwar said 417 migrants had been registered so far: 305 men, 107 women and five children. Most of them came from Somalia. (dpa)
