Srinagar, Sept 8 : One militant was killed in an encounter with police and Army today in Maidanpora Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir.

J-K police and 28 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) had launched a joint operation in Maidanpora village of Lolab valley after receiving specific information regarding the presence of militants an encounter ensued in which one militant was killed.
