Blackberry controversy refuses to die

Blackberry controversy is taking new turns day by day. The government of India has asked National Security Advisor to further analyze the emails sent from Blackberry hand sets. Blackberry had refused to provide free access to security agencies to its data.

Blackberry service is run by Canadian company, Research in Motion (RIM) in the world. It has also rejected the demand of Indian securities agencies to lower the encryption level. Research in Motion (RIM) has also rejected the demand of Indian government to star a local server in India.

The high profile hand sets of blackberry are facing wreath from securities agencies. Almost 100000 users are using blackberry sets in India. The agencies had claimed that the data send by blackberry sets can not be traced and such service is a boon for anti national elements and terrorists.

National Security Advisor is in touch with officials of Department of Telecom and RIM to find a solution of this problem. Blackberry, on the other hand, said that security agencies are targeting only the blackberry while other companies such as Windows Mobile ActiveSync, Nokia Intellisync, Motorola Good and Seven are being let off. The company has said that these companies are also providing same encryption level.
