Israeli plane makes emergency landing in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv - An airplane of the Israeli carrier Israir made an emergency landing Friday at Tel Aviv airport after developing engine troubles, media reports said.
The Israeli reports said the Airbus A320 plane had just taken off on a flight to Berlin when the pilot reported a loss of pressure in one of the jet engines.
The pilot shut the engine down and landed safely again at Tel Aviv aiport. The plane was carrying 178 passengers, who were to be flown to Germany on a replacement plane later on. (dpa)
