Sallu Makes His TV Debut With ‘10 Ka Dum’
Ace Bollywood actor Salman Khan is ready to make his TV debut on Sony Entertainment’s new game show ‘10 Ka Dum,’ which will be aired on June 6.
The ‘bad boy’ of Indian cinema, who is very much excited about his entry on the small screen, held a press conference on his TV show in Mumbai.
Salman liked the format of show that is based on a simple format of the international show ‘Power of 10.’
Khan said, “I liked the format. It is simple. It embarrasses neither the contestant nor me. And the show has got the perfect host and quizmaster. No one could have done it better.”
Admittedly, the show will add to his workload, but Khan is unfazed.
“I like pressure. And I have got such love from the contestants on the show that it doesn't seem like work,” Sallu said.
His confidence in the show’s success is firm.
“My fans love me. They have turned so many of my bad films to hits. They will turn this one into a hit, too,” he added.
The game show is the idea of Siddharth Basu of Syergy Adlabs.
In the show, the participant has to do is to think like India.
The answers of the question are based on an average percentage of a mass opinion poll conducted across India. If the guess of the participant is near to India’s collective judgment, he/she begin to win, starting from ten thousand rupees. Afterward every question answered ‘right’ makes them win or loose by the power of ten.
The winner takes home a staggering amount of Rs 100 million.
