You can soon shave your face with laser
The first-ever laser-equipped razor has been designed by Skarp Technologies. The razor has been designed to deal with common problems during shaving such as scratches, burns, accidental cutting, and irritation.
The company says the new technology will be environment friendly and also makes use of little to no water.
The team said a minimum of two billion of the razor heads or the entire razors are disposed of in the United States annually, and these wastes generally are found in landfills or garbage dumps for the reason that they cannot be separated as a result of the potential danger of being injured from the blades.
Very fine steel and aluminum were used to develop the prototypes therefore the razors will be tough and long lasting, as per the company. There will be easy grip and feel so it will be more comfortable. The razor has been designed to look similar to a regular razor.
The team developing the laser razors included Morgan Gustavsson. He came up with the intense pulse light (IPL) technology that is now being utilized in many dermatology clinics or centers for removing hair. In 2001, the device was conceptualized, however, it took a minimum of eight years before an important discovery i.e. a specific wavelength capable of cutting hair of any color.
It is expected that the laser razor will emit a wavelength, able to get through the chromophore that are particles found in hairs of all people, irrespective of their color.
