Princes William and Harry convince Joss Stone to sing for injured soldiers
Washington, Apr 23 : British Royals Princes William and Harry have convinced soul singer Joss Stone to perform at a charity concert to help the soldiers injured in the Iraq war.
Both became pals with the 21-year-old singer when she sang at a charity gig organised as a tribute to their late mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
The fundraising gala would benefit servicemen and women who have been wounded in the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict.
Stone agreed to perform, because she is disgusted by the treatment given to the wounded soldiers by the British government when they return.
"I think the way the government treats our soldiers is really f**ked up,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"They can go to war, but if they get their leg blown off they come back and are delaying with the NHS (National Health Service). They should have a right to private treatment paid for by the government.
"I'm doing it (the concert) because I support the cause and because they (William and Harry) are good friends," she added. (ANI)
