Los Angeles, Mar 1 - "James Bond" star Pierce Brosnan has been honoured by a university theatre group in his native Ireland.

The former 007 has been given honorary patronage of the Dublin University Players society at Trinity College, Dublin Wednesday, reports contactmusic. com.

The 59-year-old received a plaque in honour of his new role and he gave a talk to students in the Players Theatre. (IANS)
