Samsung to launch Galaxy S3 on Wednesday
South Korean electronics giant, Samsung is planning to launch its new Galaxy S3 smartphone on, according to reports.
The company has already received nine million pre-orders for the devise. The company had sold 20 million units of the earlier S2 version in one year since its launch. The company is already the largest mobile phone maker in the world, including the smartphones segment.
Apple sold 90 million of iPhone units around the world since the 4S launched in October but Samsung's combined sales were higher. The new smartphone will feature 4.8-inch screen, which is claimed to be the best and brightest on the market. The device also comes with voice assistant software much like Apple's popular Siri.
The company is setting up special pop-up shops in various cities including London but experts say that it needs Apple style stores to attract long queues at launches. However, it being said that it is very unlikely that people are going to stand in long queues for the launch of the device.
Many believe that the Samsung's Galaxy S3 smartphone will not only be a unique offering in the Android ecosystem but will also be able to compete well with rival Apple's iPhone smartphones in the global market.
