Steve Wozniak meets young entrepreneurs in India
Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of world's largest technology firm Apple, was in Bangalore in India to interact with young entrepreneurs and achievers of the Young Presidents Organisation, who eagerly listen to the story behind the most popular brand in the technology world.
Wozniak is the creator of the Apple II computer, which brought the global revolution in personal computing. He co-founded Apple Computer in April 1976 along with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne. Wozniak designed Apple I, which was the company's first product and the successful Apple II product.
While Jobs created a popular brand image for the country, Wozniak's designs helped in making Apple a multi-million dollar company within a year of its founding. Wozniak is am Apple employee with a minimum pay and travels around the world to represent the company.
"I was invited by the Young Presidents Organisation to address their group and they had gotten in touch via all my speech-people. This is the first time I have come to India; in fact, this is the first time I have been invited which is strange because about two years ago, I did three keynotes all around the world for Infosys," he said.
He added that he has expressed his willingness to travel to India but never had the opportunity before the invitation from the Young Presidents Organisation.
