Winklevosses files new motion in Massachusetts against Facebook
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who indicated that they will not extend the legal battle against Zuckerberg to the US Supreme Court, have field a new motion in Massachusetts claiming Facebook 'intentionally or inadvertently suppressed evidence' during their previous legal proceedings.
The new motion alleges that Facebook deliberately left out online messages from earlier legal battle, something which would have proven their case. Lawyers representing Facebook have said that the accusations are untrue and have nothing new.
The legal battle has been going on for eight years and a $65 million settlement had been reached between the parties in 2008. A court has recently said that the agreement between the sides still stands.
Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss and Divya Narendra in 2004 had accused Harvard classmate Mark Zuckerberg of stealing their idea and creating the social networking site, which now has as many as three quarters of a billion users from around the world.
