Madonna To Adopt An Indian Baby
After getting disappointed with the African governmental system, pop queen ‘Madonna’ has decided to adopt a child from India.
The 49-year-old singer fell in love with India after visiting the country, with her hubby Guy Ritchie and kids, in January.
The sources said that the 'Material Girl' will shortly visit India to adopt a baby after completing the promotion work of her new album ‘Hard Candy.’
Ritchie is also supporting Madonna in this endeavor, the sources added.
Initially, he was opposing the plan after the problems they had confronted with David Banda who they adopted from Malawi.
It is also said that her meeting with Bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, who has also adopted an Indian baby, encouraged her.
Soparrkar said, “We spoke about how there are so many children in India who need homes.”
“Madonna was very taken with Soparrkar. He told her there were orphans who would melt her heart. Guy was against the idea, but when she wants something, she gets it.”
“Guy thought Madonna was mad to want to go through it all again. He has always been unsure about adoption as his own mother was adopted and had negative experiences of that. But they talked and talked and decided adopting a baby from India would be easier,” the source added.
